(E minor, 12/8, tempo 130, 40 measures, 1 min 20 sec. )

As suites go this one is ending with a light jig in 12/8 beat. It is based on a fast guitar improvisation  that I have developed and refined over the years. A tourada a corda is a traditional event where a bull is let loose in the village, held under control by a long rope. In general it is big fun and fairly harmless, but there is an interesting underlying tension. It reminds me very much of old customs and fertility rites around the Mediterranean, where life and death are tightly connected and that go back to antiquity and beyond.
